Results of the V Annual HSE DAYS Forum
The anniversary HSE DAYS forum broke all its own records for the number of participants, speakers, parallel streams in the business program, and more.
In numbers, this is:
- 500+ participants over 2 days of the forum
- 76 speakers
- 33 parallel streams
- 45 awarded rating winners
- 2 strategic sessions of industrial companies
The forum was solemnly opened by the founder of HSE DAYS Andrey Prokopenko, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ivan Kulikov, and Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kherson Region Semen Mashkautsan.
In his speech, Ivan noted that the Ministry of Industry and Trade appreciates the participation of top executives from the largest industrial companies in the HSE DAYS forum. "Through occupational safety, we can not only preserve our teams but also increase labor productivity, which is highly relevant in the context of a personnel shortage," said Ivan Kulikov.
Semen Mashkautsan welcomed the participants on behalf of the delegations from the new regions of Russia, which were represented by leaders from government and business. He emphasized that the official regional delegations will be able to draw on the valuable practices of HSE DAYS participants, which will be used when launching the industry in the near future.
Andrey Prokopenko drew attention to the joint contribution of the participants: "The impressive results of HSE DAYS over 5 years are our common achievement. Everyone has put a piece of their soul into protecting human lives. And our primary task is to use all our resources and potential to qualitatively impact the statistics of fatal injuries."
Traditionally, participants faced a difficult choice between rich and informative parallel sessions. One of the forum participants noted: "An excellent professional, rather than commercial, platform where all companies come to exchange experience, get useful advice, and benchmark safety performance, rather than sell services and goods."
For the first time within the forum's business program, strategic sessions were held by major industrial companies – Zarubezhneft and SUEK. These sessions discussed issues of environmental safety, risk management, and safety culture. Forum participants were also able to join the sessions.
Also for the first time at the forum, there was a separate business program for owners and top executives of large businesses. It began with a public session "Leaders on the Frontline: How CEOs Create Safe Enterprises" and transitioned into a closed track format moderated by recognized industry experts.
The gala evening of the forum was the largest in the history of the forum, and the venue barely accommodated everyone. The concert featured performances by bands already loved by the public: Oil Band, SkyRockers, and Sborishche.
At the closing of the forum, a video was shown about the opening of the VI season of HSE DAYS, which will take place in April 2025 at the Krasnaya Polyana resort. Forum participants were the first to receive an invitation to take part in the opening of the new season of the project, which will feature new formats and ambitious tasks for the coming year.
