From April 4 to 6, the HSE DAYS Workshop was held in the mountains of the Krasnaya Polyana resort, bringing together over 120 top managers and occupational safety specialists from Russia's largest industrial companies, including Rosatom State Corporation, Russian Railways, Severstal, Evraz, Uralkali, Lukoil, Zarubezhneft, and others.
The event featured a uniquely balanced program that included a business section, industrial tourism, and active recreation. The first day was dedicated to skills development and addressing current issues through master classes and workshops. On the second day, participants traveled to Sochi for an industrial visit to a Russian Railways railcar repair depot and organized a trekking quest in the Sochi National Park. The third day of the Workshop concluded with a joint downhill ski run and a picnic in the mountains, where 14 of the country's industrial companies were represented.
Project founder Andrey Prokopenko emphasized: "The Workshop represents an evolution in employers' attitudes toward HSE employees. We agreed with major companies that the Workshop would primarily be a motivational event where people not only work but also enjoy sports and team-building activities surrounded by fellow professionals. We are united in the understanding that HSE staff should be remembered not only when an emergency occurs."
Reflecting the general opinion of the participants, Oksana Kozbeva from Metran Industrial Group confirms: "The perpetually work-exhausted occupational safety employees received a boost of positivity, good emotions, and as a result, new strength to move forward!".
