Assessing the Impact of Psychophysiological Factors on Occupational Injuries

11 June 2025 1 min read

According to the WHO, up to 40% of disability cases in developed countries are related to mental health. Physical and emotional overload are becoming part of the daily burden, especially for blue-collar professions.

The Occupational Safety Research Center of the FSBI "VNII Truda" has launched a research project dedicated to assessing the impact of psychophysiological factors on occupational injuries. The study is led by HSE DAYS project ambassador Serik Mazhkenov.

As part of the project, an anonymous survey of workers from various professions is being conducted. It will take no more than 10 minutes, and all data will be processed exclusively in an aggregated form.

"We expect to obtain an objective picture of psychophysiological risks and use it to develop practical recommendations for reducing occupational injuries," noted Serik Mazhkenov.

You can take the survey until July 15, 2025, on the Electronic Occupational Safety Platform:

All personal data of the survey participants will be deleted after processing is complete, the organizer assures.
