A new fire suppression system has been introduced at the PAVLIK Mining and Processing Plant (GOK). Employees of the mining company tested pyrostickers at the training ground of the plant's emergency rescue unit.
These pyrostickers have been installed in all electrical rooms of the GOK. A pyrosticker handles fires in enclosed spaces, such as electrical cabinets and distribution boards, in a matter of minutes. The device works on the principle that when temperature affects its active components, it triggers an instantaneous reaction, releasing combustion inhibitors. The subsequent chemical reaction suppresses the fire source. Using this tool allows for the elimination of primary fire sources in electrical panels and provides effective protection for production personnel.
This innovative fire extinguisher is compact and requires no maintenance or special installation requirements. It is energy-independent and autonomous, triggering instantly without affecting objects untouched by fire.
Pyrostickers come in various sizes and can be cut like a regular sticker. The installation process is very simple: just stick the sticker to the inside of the electrical cabinet in an area where there is a risk of ignition.
