Remote Medical Examinations for "Rosgeologia" Holding Companies

As part of a systematic approach to ensuring quality and maintaining employee health, unifying medical care and supply principles, streamlining the organization of all types of medical examinations, and implementing legitimate telemedicine technologies, a pilot project was launched in October 2023. Based at the medical unit of a Rosgeologia JSC subsidiary, which has provided medical support for offshore and remote onshore production facilities for over 50 years, the project focuses on organizing and conducting pre-shift, pre-trip, post-shift, and post-trip medical examinations (hereinafter referred to as PME) for Rosgeologia Holding employees.

PMEs are conducted, among other ways, remotely using automated medical examination systems.

In addition to PMEs, an "Extended Medicine" telemedicine service has been launched. This includes PMEs supplemented by physician consultations upon employee request via the PME terminal and all available communication channels. Supervised production facilities are equipped with standardized medical kits from the medical unit, which are continuously monitored and replenished.

Thanks to the pilot project, Rosgeologia Holding subsidiaries can organize the presence and operation of mobile medical teams using "turnkey" health centers at all remote production sites, equipping them with standardized necessary equipment and medications. Based on the specific needs of each subsidiary, qualified and trained personnel will be selected, having undergone training in accordance with international standards for emergency pre-hospital medical care.

An analysis of commercial proposals from third-party insurance and medical organizations showed that the service for all Holding companies will be significantly cheaper and more comprehensive, even considering the additional provision of standardized medical kits linked to telemedicine consultations with doctors from a unified coordination center.

Following the implementation of the pilot project, in addition to standardizing and controlling the quality of medical examinations, disease prevention, and health promotion, the Holding will be able to achieve savings of up to 7 million rubles per year compared to purchasing such services from third-party organizations. This will allow the Holding to expand its HSE competencies and accumulate additional financial reserves within its own financial circuit.

All project activities are accredited and licensed, conducted in accordance with the requirements of Order No. 266n of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation dated May 30, 2023, "On Approval of the Procedure and Frequency of Pre-shift, Pre-trip, Post-shift, and Post-trip Medical Examinations, Medical Examinations During the Working Day (Shift), and the List of Included Studies," and Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 866 dated May 30, 2023, "On the Specifics of Conducting Medical Examinations Using Medical Devices that Provide Automated Remote Transmission of Information on the Health Status of Employees and Remote Monitoring of Their Health Status."
