Developing Visual Handouts to Communicate Corporate Values

25 November 2024 🇷🇺 Original: русский 1 min read

It is essential for new employees, visitors, and contractor representatives to understand the specifics of the sites they visit, as well as the Values of the company they interact with. To address this, JSC "Rosgeo" developed a brochure titled "Corporate Standards and Requirements in Health, Safety, Environment, and Industrial Safety." This brochure is distributed to all employees, visitors, and contractors during their introductory induction.

What information do you include in the brochure?

The main sections of the brochure include:

  • Our Values
  • General information about the Holding
  • The Holding's HSE Management System
  • The Holding's policies regarding Health, Safety, Environment, and Industrial Safety
  • Leadership
  • Work suspension in case of threats (Stop Work Authority)
  • Key requirements for contractors
  • Site safety measures
  • Information about buildings, the site, and assembly points in case of emergencies
  • Emergency contact numbers

Is the brochure available in digital format?

To ensure the information is accessible — especially when a printed copy is unavailable or when a deeper dive into a specific section is needed — a notification with a QR code was developed. This allows users to access extended materials and video inductions on their mobile devices or computers, ensuring constant access to corporate information. Additionally, we plan to synchronize all training materials via the QR code link with an automated Telegram bot in the next version of the brochure.

What key objectives do you achieve by preparing this brochure?

  • Increasing awareness among employees and other personnel

- Informing: The brochure contains vital information about company rules and Values, helping employees and other personnel better understand their responsibilities and the company's requirements.

- Training support: The handout serves as educational material for professional development, helping improve knowledge of workplace safety.

  • Developing a corporate Safety Culture

- Employee engagement: Involving workers in discussions regarding HSE and Industrial Safety through the distribution of information materials helps foster a Safety Culture within the company.

- Creating a safe environment: Distributing the brochure demonstrates the company's commitment to the health and safety of everyone involved in the work process.
