According to Article 214 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the employer acts as a guarantor of safe working conditions. This includes organizing medical examinations, providing sanitary and medical services for employees in accordance with HSE requirements, and ensuring the transportation of employees who fall ill at the workplace to a medical facility if emergency medical care is required.
According to "SP 44.13330.2011. Set of Rules. Administrative and Domestic Buildings. Updated version of SNiP 2.09.04-87" (approved by Order of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation No. 782 dated December 27, 2010), a medical center must be provided for a workforce of 50 to 300 people. In certain cases, such as industry-specific safety regulations, special requirements for the organization of health centers apply.
In 2021, ZARUBEZHNEFT-dobycha Kharyaga established a new, modernly equipped medical center for licensed medical activities.
The organizational and staffing structure of the medical unit includes a doctor and a paramedic working under a medical services agreement on a 24/7 basis.
The medical center is located in one of the buildings of the residential shift camp and has entrances from both the street and the building interior.
One of the entrances is equipped with a ramp for the smooth transport of patients on stretchers.
The medical center features a sanitary inspection room (bath), as well as an isolation ward with a private bathroom and shower.
There are also functional rooms necessary for providing a full range of medical services: a doctor's office, a room for pre- and post-shift examinations, a treatment and dressing room, an intensive care unit, a breakroom for medical staff, and storage facilities.
It is worth noting that the medical service is equipped with all modern communication methods: Internet with telemedicine capabilities, mobile, and satellite communications.
The medical service has two fully equipped ambulances at its disposal, allowing for an emergency response to incoming calls. The transport time for patients to the nearest medical facility from the oil field is approximately 4 hours. In case of emergency, regional air medical services can be called. ZARUBEZHNEFT-dobycha Kharyaga has its own helipad located in the immediate vicinity of the medical center.
The intensive care unit of the medical center deserves special mention. In addition to the standard medical equipment required by Order of the Ministry of Health of Russia No. 911n dated November 13, 2012, it is further equipped with a patient monitor for tracking vital signs, a ventilator, and a defibrillator.
Modern medications, transport immobilization devices (vacuum and pneumatic splints), and evacuation equipment (vacuum stretchers) are used for emergency care and patient treatment.
In addition to the stationary oxygen supply line for patients, OXY6000 mobile oxygen concentrators are also utilized.
Furthermore, for providing first aid at the company's production facilities, there are not only first aid kits but also automated external defibrillators and portable ventilators.
The presence of a modern, well-equipped medical center helps the company improve the level of occupational safety, as caring for the health and well-being of every employee is a priority for our company.
