To determine the performance indicators of subsidiaries, branches, and separate divisions of Rosgeologia Holding in the field of environmental safety, as well as to stimulate environmentally oriented development of companies, the Holding conducts a rating assessment in accordance with the approved environmental safety assessment criteria known as the "Green Rating."

Objectives of the Environmental Rating

The "Green Rating" environmental ranking is an indicator that allows for the assessment of the effectiveness of the activities and work performed by each Holding company in the field of environmental protection.

The creation of the environmental rating for Rosgeologia Holding enterprises pursues several key objectives:

• Ensuring public accessibility of information regarding the actual environmental situation and reflecting the results of the Holding companies' activities to reduce negative environmental impact in an accessible form;
• Encouraging Holding companies to use modern technologies aimed at resource conservation and ensuring environmental safety, as well as improving the effectiveness of environmental protection measures;
• Developing methods and ways to solve environmental problems;
• Strengthening cooperation in the field of environmental protection between government agencies, business, and society;
• Attracting customer interest to companies that demonstrate a responsible attitude toward nature conservation and human health.

In the process of compiling our environmental rating, we use a number of information sources regarding the activities of subsidiaries, branches, and separate divisions in the field of environmental protection, including:

• Implementation of measures – activities carried out in the field of air protection, water resources, soil, and waste management;
• Documentation management – development and timely updating of permits, organizational, administrative, contractual, and reporting documentation;
• Leadership – demonstrating leadership qualities and a commitment to sharing experience on environmental safety issues at environmental protection meetings;
• Personnel management – organization of environmental education and awareness;
• Public opinion – statements, complaints, letters of appreciation;
• Inspections – protocols of scheduled inspections of the company's environmental activities, reports from state supervisory authorities;
• Penalties – information on fines imposed and administrative liability for non-compliance with environmental standards.

The "Green Rating" methodology takes into account the requirements of the Russian Federation's regulatory acts and recommendations from international environmental organizations, including a set of indicators that reflect all aspects of the company's environmental activities.

The rating assignment is based on a scoring system model. Each company is evaluated according to a specific set of criteria, with points (0 or 1) assigned for each. The final score of the model, corresponding to the rating assessment, is calculated from the sum of all points received. The winner of the rating is the Holding company that scores the highest number of points.

Results of the "Green Rating"

Based on the results of the "Green Rating" event, winners and runners-up are awarded the Green Cup, certificates of honor, participant certificates, and other material incentives.
