Professional experience must be shared. However, the question is how to do it in the best possible way.
Our Company widely uses the "First-Person Professionalism" format. This is a large-scale project whose main objective is to enhance the professional and general cultural competencies of graduates from the Company's core educational institutions, as well as to increase their motivation to work in our industry. It works as follows: before the start of the academic year, Company executives propose topics for their presentations and their preferred month. As a rule, the topic is chosen from their specific area of activity. The lectures themselves take place in classrooms.
Given the importance of fostering the right attitude toward occupational safety and a zero-harm mindset among the younger generation starting from their student years, I consider the use of this platform mandatory, which is why I participate annually.
I am confident that every enterprise has the opportunity to organize similar training sessions for students of technical colleges and universities.
My lectures are held in an open format, featuring a maximum number of real-world production examples and engaging videos on the topic of occupational safety. Students are always interested in "live" and visual examples.
In my opinion, the earlier we start instilling a safety culture, the better.
