We all strive to create an effective production culture at our enterprise. To achieve this goal, we develop and implement various projects that help us improve working conditions and increase the level of safety.
One such project is "Safety Ambassadors" at JSC Kola MMC. This project helps us change the company's image by improving the production culture and establishing effective communication between HSE specialists and workers.
At the very beginning of their journey, the ambassadors underwent internships and training on preventive measures with experienced professionals from the "Prevention and Mentoring" track. The goal was to adopt HSE best practices and apply them within their own internal structural units (ISUs). Their training has already yielded significant results, extending beyond analyzing situations in their own units to identifying workplace risks in other ISUs. They also actively work on detecting critical risks that could threaten the lives of third-party contractors.
Thus, the ambassadors not only help create a safe working environment for their colleagues but also act as a crucial link in the safety chain on a broader level. By identifying potential threats and risks, they are able to prevent accidents, thereby saving lives and enhancing the overall safety culture in the workplace. Their efforts ensure that safety becomes a priority not only within their ISUs but also in the broader community, which in turn creates safer working conditions for everyone.
We are confident that such engagement and proactive efforts will help us achieve high safety standards and create a comfortable working environment for all employees.
